Boniface Jaoko

General Manager

Boniface Jaoko is the Founder and General Manager of Lakeland Cargo Logistics, which he started in 2014 as a sole proprietorship and changed it to a limited company the same year. During the company’s early years, Boniface acted as the sole director, sales and support representative, allowing for it to be a stable business from the outset.

In addition to his main responsibilities in running the company and setting overall business strategy, he remains actively involved in the running, supervision, and courier teams within the organization. Boniface holds a BA of Economics from the University of Nairobi. He previously worked with CMC Motor Group for 2 years as an Account Assistant, African Safari Club for 3 years as an Internal Auditor, Bamburi Cement for 7 Years as a Management Accountant, Bora Milk Ltd for 4 years as a Finance & Administration Manager, East Zone Distributors Ltd for 4 years as a Finance & Administration Manager and Data Rush Services for 4 years as Operations Manager

 

Caroline Achieng

Finance Manager

Caroline Achieng Owiti is incharge of the finance and administration of Lakeland Cargo Logistics. She holds a degree in bachelor of Commerce from KCA university and CPA-K. She previously worked with Eastzone Distributors Ltd as Internal Auditor/Accountant, Bidco Africa as Assistant Internal Auditor amongst others.

Caroline Achieng Owiti is incharge of the efficient and effective management of money (funds) in such a manner as to accomplish the objectives of the organization and is directly associated with the top management. Her work includes how to raise the capital and how to allocate capital. Not only for long term budgeting, but also how to allocate the short term resources like current liabilities.

Operations Manager - Nairobi Region

Kevin Muhuthia is the operations manager in Nairobi Region, He is incharge of all the staff personnel around nairobi and its environs and oversees the smooth delivery of goods in nairobi and its environs and also the transit goods to other areas like the western region and beyond the kenyan borders.

Kevin holds a degree Supplies and management and previously worked with Amega Global International Limited for 2 years as Sales Assistant (2007 - 2008) and later with Data Rush Services Ltd for 3 years as Operations Supervisor (2011 - 2013) before joining our team in 2014.

 

George Obare

George Obare

Operations Manager - Western Region

George Obare is the operations manager in Western Region, He is incharge of all the staff personnel around western and its environs and oversees the smooth delivery of goods in western kenya and its environs and also the transit goods to other areas like the Nairobi region and beyond the kenyan borders.

George holds a diploma Supply Chain Management and previously worked with Well Fargo Limited for 7 years as Courier Operations Supervisor (2008 - 2015) before joining our team in 2016.

 

 

Martin Nyongesa

Martin Nyongesa

Branch Manager - Mombasa Region

Martin Nyongesa is the branch manager for mombasa Region, He is incharge of all the staff personnel around mombasa and its environs and oversees the smooth delivery of goods in mombasa and its environs and also the transit goods to other areas like the Nairobi region, Western Region and beyond the kenyan borders.

Martin Nyongesa previously worked with Data Rush before joining the company and working as a supervisor before being promoted to branch manager for mombasa region.

Staff

We have a staff of supervisors for each of our branches in addition to a staff complement of 96 who are distributed as follows: Nairobi = 54, Kisumu = 10, Kericho = 2, Mombasa = 10, Eldoret = 7, Nakuru = 8 and Kitale = 5. They include Truck drivers, loaders and motobike riders for easy transportation of the goods and parcels to the diifrent destinations country wide
